Course Outline

Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) - This course is designed to help you master the skills needed to operate an emergency vehicle safely and effectively. EVOC focuses on advanced driving skills and defensive driving in both emergency and non-emergency situations. Our EVOC certification splits the 16-hour course into two parts. An 8-hour online assignment with a final exam that will be graded, and an in-person lecture and practical portion.  

This certification is often a requirement for those driving emergency vehicles and meets all standards set by the Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and the Florida Department of Health. ( Florida Statute 401.281, 316.003 (1) F.S.) and Florida Administrative Code 64J-1.013 requirements for safe emergency vehicle operations.
